How do I code for AV access if instead of puncturing AV access, the common femoral artery is accessed and the catheter is advanced to the AV access for imaging?

Answer:
CPT says “For radiological supervision and interpretation of dialysis access circuit angiography performed through existing access(es) or catheter- based arterial access, report 36901 with a modifier 52”.
