Question:
I routinely do a sigmoidoscopy (or other endoscopic procedure) to assess the integrity of the anastomosis after a colectomy.  Can this be billed with a diagnostic scope code?

Answer:
No, an endoscopy following a procedure (a “completion” endoscopy) to assess results is also not separately reported.
